Monetizing Assets Protecting Athletes

Since 2019 Marquell Oliver, President of MAPA Ticketing Inc. (“MAPA”), has been involved in providing athlete services and strategic project development. This includes Marquell’s support of professional athletes, development of public-private partnerships, and work for sports teams such as the Orlando Magic and Washington Commanders. As a youth coach, Marquell advised talent and stakeholders across civic, technology, entertainment, and sports sectors. Marquell’s aim with MAPA is to continue educating and protecting athletes’ rights and ownership opportunities. 

Malik S. Jackson, Esquire, Vice President of MAPA, brings unique and informed firsthand experience to MAPA as a lawyer and former middle school teacher, athletic coach, and college quarterback (Princeton). Malik’s experience in representing legal clients concerning Florida’s NIL laws, NCAA and conference recruiting and eligibility rules and processes, charitable activities, NIL contracts, college athlete institutional revenue share contracts, and other commercialization of an athlete’s property variously since the advent of the NIL era in July of 2021 are key to MAPA’s trainer and athlete solutions.
