Monetizing Assets Protecting Athletes

Since 2019, Marquell Oliver, president of MAPA Ticketing Inc. (“MAPA”), has been dedicated to providing athlete protection services and strategic project development. A graduate of Illinois State University, Marquell transitioned into the sports, entertainment, and education sectors after graduation. His experience includes supporting professional athletes, developing public-private partnerships, and working with sports teams such as the Orlando Magic and Washington Commanders. As a youth coach, Marquell has advised talent and stakeholders across the civic, technology, entertainment, and sports sectors. With MAPA, Marquell aims to continue educating athletes about their NIL rights and protecting their ownership opportunities.

Malik S. Jackson, Esquire, vice president of MAPA, brings unique and informed firsthand experience to MAPA as a lawyer and former middle school teacher, athletic coach, and college football quarterback. A graduate of Princeton University and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, College of Law, Malik’s experience is essential to MAPA’s athlete protection initiatives, as well as its customer pay and protection solutions. He has represented legal clients concerning Florida’s NIL rights, NCAA and conference recruiting and eligibility rules, charitable activities, NIL contracts, college athlete institutional revenue share contracts, and the commercialization of an athlete’s property since the advent of the NIL era in July of 2021.
